Sorry Daniel,
I just don't think Ron Paul is the man to lead our country. I just visited his webpage to reread his opinions on some of the issues of concern to me and other American's. He's got some attractive points, but I just find him lacking credibility. I don't buy it and I think he's just keeping the status quo. If he really was serious about ending the war and brining our boys home, he'd be talking about energy policy for us and the world. He's not, he just like the "anti-war" Democrats. If our Democratically controlled congress really wanted to stop the war, they'd enact sweeping changes in our energy policy. 11 months and nothing's been changed.
Right now I'm liking Huckabee. A progressive conservative - seems like they inherently at odds, but they seem to be a natural fit.

Dear Noah,
Greetings in the Matchless Love of YahShua!
Let's deal with the credibility issue because it is important.
The reason why he is not like the anti-war Democrats is because he does not come against war becuase he belives war is always bad and unnecessary, the "hippy-love" mentality that marks many Democrats.
Rather, he wants to end the war because
1. It violates the Constituion since Congress never formally declared war
2. Lacks a clear objective
3. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and they did not have weapons of mass destruction, so the first reason is now void
4. Is a war we cannot afford.
Ron Paul is a huge proponent of sound money, and is the only canditate who really understands money and the Fed. Right now, and for decades, the Fed has been printing fiat paper money which has one result -- devaluing the dollar, which is why it is falling so rapidly.
This is why the Constituion said gold and silver should be legal money, not paper money.
The fact is, this country is paying and doing things it CANNOT afford, and if we do not return to the Founding Fathers advice on foreign policy (which has its roots in Torah by the way), the dollar will ultimately collapse and funding of a war or anything else will be moot anyway.
As far as energy policy -- Ron Paul has consitently voted to shift power away from DC and back to the states and local communities (as the Constitution mandates), so that maximum personal liberty can help achieve competitve, free market means of sound energy (much better than a bloated government trying to solve things).
I also encourage you to youtube Ron Paul and watch some of his speeches -- he is the most humble and genuine person I have ever heard speak about various issues.
Mike Huckabee talks a big talk about cutting taxes and even mentioned abolishing the IRS in the last debate, yet as governor of Arkansas, he raised taxes more times than even some Democrats have done.
Mike Huckabee likes to constantly remind people that he is a member of the clergy, while Ron Paul (though a lover of the Creator), does not draw attention to himself but rather the Constituitonal Principles this country so desperatly needs.
Ron Paul is not only attractive conservative Republicans (due to his desire to abolish the IRS and return the abortion issue back to the states), but is also attracting Democrats (due to wanting to end the war immediately upon reaching office). He also has a HUGE following of independants.
Ron Paul is certainly part of the miracle I have been praying for as I've been seeking Yah's Face for an awakening and revival to hit this nation.
Love in YahShua,
Brother Daniel
